Free action items extractor
Find the follow-through in the conversation. Review explicit action candidates with their original wording, speaker, and timing hints—all in your browser.
No sign-up · No input upload · English-first rules, not an AI model · Up to 40,000 characters
The text workspace is isolated from the surrounding site and blocks network access. Source text is not included in our tool usage events. How the tool works
A useful first draft.
A deliberate review.
This tool arranges source text using local rules. It makes no AI service calls, cannot understand the whole conversation, and never sends an email or assigns a task.
Keep speaker labels if you have them
A line such as “Jamie: I will send the note by Thursday” gives the tool an explicit speaker and action phrase. Without that evidence it should not invent an owner. Keep original wording and split long turns when practical.
Review every candidate
The rules look for explicit future commitments and labeled action items, and filter common questions, conditions, and negations. They cannot reliably resolve pronouns, corrections across lines, or implied agreements. Remove false positives and add missed source passages.
Confirm the assignment before moving it
Treat the owner as a hint to check and the date as a phrase mentioned in the source. A date may describe context rather than the deadline. Confirm the actual assignment before copying the result into a work tracker.
Know the limits
- This is a candidate extractor, not a task-assignment authority.
- A request, suggestion, or conditional promise is not automatically an accepted commitment.
- The tool cannot reliably match a later “yes” or correction to an earlier request.
- Relative dates such as “by Friday” stay unchanged. The meeting date and time zone are not inferred.

Fictional sample dialogue, processed by the same rules as the live tool. The result is a review draft, not an approved meeting record.
Sample input

Robin: I will send two examples of partner workflows. Jamie: We should discuss cost after reviewing the examples. Robin: I will not approve a schedule change today. Jamie: The next check-in is not booked yet.

A few useful answers.
Practical details before you use this resource.
Is this an AI generator?
No. This free tool uses English-first text rules to select and arrange source passages. It does not understand the conversation or rewrite it with a language model. For AI-assisted interpretation, download the matching Skill and run it inside Prismical with an account and an available model.
Where does my pasted text go?
The formatter runs inside a sandboxed browser frame with network connections blocked. It does not upload your input, store it in browser storage, or include it in analytics. The surrounding website can still load normal site analytics. Clear or reload the tool to discard its current text.
Why does an owner say “Not confirmed”?
The source did not contain a usable explicit owner or a named speaker making a first-person commitment. Review the passage and assign an owner only after confirming it. The tool deliberately avoids filling every field.
