Does Otter always send a bot to meetings?
No. Otter’s current desktop page describes bot-free recording for Mac and Windows. Capture mode matters; do not compare one product’s desktop workflow with another product’s bot workflow as though those were the only choices.
Which product is more accurate?
We have not run a controlled, reproducible transcription benchmark for this comparison. Accuracy depends on audio, language, speakers, and configuration. Use your own representative recordings and compare against a checked reference.
Is there an automatic Otter importer?
No Otter-to-Prismical automatic migration is verified here. Test an export from Otter and a small destination workflow before committing to a move; copying text is not the same as preserving a complete meeting archive.
