Get Prismical running on your Mac or Windows machine in under a minute.
Download the Desktop App
The fastest way to get started is to download Prismical for your platform:
Record Your First Meeting
- Open Prismical — The app launches as a floating window
- Start a meeting — Join any meeting on Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Slack, or any other platform
- Hit Record — Prismical captures system audio in the background. No bot joins your call.
- Stop when done — AI generates a transcript, summary, key decisions, and action items
Take Quick Notes
Not in a meeting? Use Prismical for voice notes and brain dumps:
- Open the floating window
- Talk or type — messy bullets, half-thoughts, shorthand
- AI structures, formats, and organizes everything into clean notes
Choose Your Transcription Engine
Prismical supports both local and cloud transcription:
Local Models (default, no internet required)
- Whisper — OpenAI's open-source speech recognition, runs on-device
- Parakeet — NVIDIA's fast ASR model, optimized for Apple Silicon
Cloud Providers (BYOK — bring your own key)
- Deepgram — Fast cloud transcription
- OpenAI — Whisper API
- Assembly AI — Cloud ASR with speaker diarization
Configure your preferred engine in Settings → Transcription.
