Preferences
Where the day-to-day behavior lives.

| Auto-enhance after recording | Runs Enhance automatically when you stop recording, and shows you the draft to apply or discard. On by default. Per device. |
| Theme | Light, dark, or follow your system. Per device. |
| Launch at login | Starts Prismical when you sign in to your computer. Desktop only. |
| Show dock | Whether the floating dock shows — Always, While recording, or Never. Desktop only. See Meeting detection. |
| Hide dock from screen sharing | Keeps the dock and floating note out of anything you share or record. Desktop only. |
| Auto-expand notes on recording | Opens the floating note when a recording starts on its own. Desktop only. |
| Permissions | Your microphone permission, with a way into your system settings. Desktop only. See Meeting recording. |
Auto-enhance and theme live on the device rather than your account, so each computer gets its own answer. See Sync.
AI Models
The models behind everything.
- Transcription — turning speech into text. See AI models.

Both default to Prismical Cloud · Auto, which needs no setup. See AI models.
Local models

Advanced
Desktop diagnostics:
- Export logs — reveals the log file, for when you're sending us a bug report.
- Reset app — erases everything Prismical stores on this device and restarts with first-time setup.
Reset app is not a light touch. It signs out every account and erases the settings, any notes, recordings and transcripts kept on this device, the local copy of your cloud notes, downloaded speech models and saved API keys. Notes stored in your Prismical account are kept and sync back; anything held only on this device is not. It cannot be undone.
